Sterling Heights, Mich. – June 26, 2015 –Lighthouse Molding Inc., a Sterling Heights-based technology leader in low pressure overmolding technology to encapsulate and protect electronic assemblies, received a $50,000 investment from Automation Alley’s technology investment committee. The announcement was made by Scott Reisfield, Lighthouse Molding’s chief marketing officer.
“This additional investment from Automation Alley allows us to manage our rapid growth and focus on continuing to provide high impact, cost-saving solutions to our customers. This is just one of the many benefits that we have derived from our partnership with Automation Alley,” Reisfield said.
Lighthouse Molding is a member of Automation Alley’s 7Cs™ entrepreneurship program. Automation Alley, Michigan’s largest technology business association, launched the 7Cs™ in December 2014 with a specific emphasis on helping advanced manufacturing startups across Southeast Michigan. The program includes intense coaching and a commitment from Automation Alley to invest resources and capital. Automation Alley selected Lighthouse Molding for inclusion in the 7Cs™ program because their technology dramatically improves both the cost and effectiveness of the protection of printed circuit boards, sensors and antennas, and other electronic devices.
